We stayed in Chiang Mai as part of a road trip from Lopburi, via Tak, then returning via Phitsanulok. This was our second visit to Chiang Mai and thought we would choose a different hotel. After having now stayed at the Yaang Come Village hotel, we will book this hotel next time. Not too big, but just right with a nice level of intimacy. The car parking is much better here than our previous hotel, though there is no lift to the rooms, which could be an issue for the less mobile. The rooms were fantastic, I loved them. They were both spacious and quirky in their own way, unlike any conventional hotel room; doorways and timber vaulted ceiling above the bed. What really made me chuckle was the fact the bathroom had a male urinal, meaning sir & madam could go at the same time! The TV was a smart TV, which meant the ability to connect one's phone or tablet. This was a must given the lack of English speaking channels available across Thailand. The bed was like sinking into a giant marshmallow. It was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Though we only stayed a couple of nights, we did manage a morning in the pool, which was a nice size and well managed. Breakfast was also nice, served in the restaurant near the pool. All in all, this was my type of hotel, just adorable and fabulous.

Our room was great, very big, bathroom was great. The room was cleaned daily and the staff did an excellent job. We would quite often go to the pool after breakfast for a couple of hours and by the time we returned to the room it had been cleaned. Breakfast was great with tables outside and inside so you never had to look for a table. Order to cook egg station was very good and quick. Lots of noodles and rice dishes, fresh fruit, and breads. No bacon which I love with breakfast, but hey, we didn't need bacon. Staff was excellent, very friendly, and seemed to know your room number very quickly. The gardens that surround the hotel are beautiful, especially the large Banyon tree. The pool is great with plenty of deck chairs and very quiet, a great place to sit and relax and read a book in the sun. The Yaang Come Village Hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the night markets, which I think are the best markets in Chiang Mai. Great shopping, great food halls with great, cheap food. We went to the markets every night and had dinner and the variety of food you could get is unbelievable and so tasty and so cheap. I would recommend the Yaang Home Village Hotel to anyone wanting a great hotel.

Beautiful boutique Lanna style hotel set amongst gorgeous tropical surroundings right near Chiang Mai Night Markets. Although easy walking distance to the markets and so much more, the hotel itself is set back from the road, so it’s quiet and tranquil, and feels a world away from the hustle of the city. You just relax from the moment you walk in. Staff are friendly, welcoming and happy to help wherever possible. The property is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are very clean, very comfortable and feel private. So pleased we stayed here. Would definitely recommend. Look forward to returning!!

The room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony. Air conditioning was efficient and quiet. Good sized bathroom with nice toiletries. Staff were exceptionally friendly. The hotel itself is small and low-rise and built in a beautiful traditional style and the gardens surrounding it are lush and well tended. Breakfast was served outside in a covered garden room. The hotel is set way back from the road so its very quiet yet only a few mins walk to the markets and shops. Also only a 15 walk to the south side of the Old City.

The hotel is super central in Chiang Mai, at 400 meters from the Night Market and next to shops, pharmacy and restaurants. The style of this structure is traditional Thai- really beautiful - and this reflects in any corner of the hotel. Trees, colorful flowers and well maintained vegetation surround all the area. All is very quiet. The swimming pool is not a huge one, but well located, very clean and has beach-beds in adequate quantity for the guests. Towels are provided Front desk personnel speak good English.
